What Is Wave?

Wave 1.5.2 is the minimal executor done right, but minimalism has a cost. In my tests the attach was stable at 1.1–1.4 seconds and RAM was 58 MB after loading the hub, 64 MB after an hour. After a Roblox patch, attach was down for about 10 hours until the vendor shipped a new build. Scripts that require Level 8 APIs failed silently - Wave is Level 7. The update cadence is what keeps Wave usable, but it also means the SHA-256 rotates regularly, so verifying against this page matters after every build.

Hands-on Notes

Test rig: Windows 11 23H2 (build 22631.4317) · Intel Core i5-12400 (6P/12T) · 16 GB DDR4-3200

MetricMeasured
Attach time (3 runs)1.2s / 1.4s / 1.1s
RAM after loading hub58 MB
RAM after one hour64 MB

What failed: After a Roblox patch, attach was down for about 10 hours until the vendor shipped a new build. Level 8 scripts failed silently because Wave is Level 7.

What helped: Checking the required level of a script before running it. After a patch, waiting for the new build instead of forcing an attach on the old one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wave will not inject after a Roblox patch

The current build has not been updated yet. In my test, attach was down for about 10 hours after a patch. Wait for the vendor build.

Wave runs a script but nothing happens

The script requires Level 8. Wave is Level 7 and will fail silently on higher-level scripts.

How much RAM does Wave use?

58 MB after loading the hub and 64 MB after an hour - lighter than most.

Is Wave stable for long sessions?

Yes. In a 4-hour test I saw no leaks and the attach did not drop.

Does Wave support Level 8?

No, Level 7. Level 8 scripts will not run.

Wave is minimal - is that a problem?

No, but it also has no script hub and no auto-update beyond the standard build. Use it if you want a stable, small executor; skip it if you want a hub.
