What Is Volt?

Volt 1.1.0 is key-gated - a purchased key is required at launch. The first launch failed with a HWID mismatch after a motherboard change; the HWID reset in Settings fixed it. Second case: on a Wi-Fi network the Volt endpoint was blocked and attach failed entirely; a VPN (Cloudflare WARP) solved it. Attach times were 1.5–1.8 seconds; RAM was 75 MB after loading the hub and 83 MB after an hour. The VSCode extension only works after attach, like Synapse Z.

Troubleshooting

Community documentation lists several common issues and their fixes. For connection problems, using a VPN such as Cloudflare WARP or Proton VPN is recommended because Wi-Fi can block Volt's connection. If the HWID does not match, users can reset it via Volt Settings → Security & Privacy → Reset HWID. For session expiration, restarting the game and re-logging in is advised. If instance limits are exceeded, closing unused instances or claiming a new license resolves the issue. For persistent issues, reinstalling the game entirely from the official website is suggested.

Frequently Asked Questions

Volt will not connect - what do I try?

A VPN (Cloudflare WARP or Proton) on Wi-Fi networks that block the endpoint. In my test, the Wi-Fi network blocked Volt while Roblox worked fine - it looked like an executor failure.

Volt shows a HWID mismatch after a hardware change

Settings → Security & Privacy → Reset HWID. The vendor may rate-limit resets, so do not spam the button.

Volt does not work with Bloxstrap

Correct - Volt only supports the official Roblox client. Bloxstrap and Fishstrap break the attach.

How much RAM does Volt use?

75 MB after loading the hub and 83 MB after an hour - about average.

Does Volt support multi-instance?

Yes, multiple Roblox windows simultaneously with a client dropdown. In my tests, two instances were stable; three started to lag on 16 GB of RAM.

Volt VSCode extension will not connect

The extension only works after attach. Inject first, then Connect from VSCode. The WebSocket port must be reachable locally.
