What Is Volcano?

Volcano 2.0 was the slowest attach in my tests (Electron). The first launch failed because Roblox was started after Volcano. Second case: the file was in a folder with a Cyrillic path and the injector failed without a clear error. Moving it to C:\\Volcano\\ made it work. Attach times were 2.0–2.5 seconds via Manual Map and SetWindowsHookEx. RAM was 120 MB after loading the hub and 135 MB after an hour - one of the heaviest in the tests, because of Electron.

What failed: First launch: attach failed because Roblox was started after Volcano. Second case: the file was in a folder with a Cyrillic path and the injector failed without a clear error.

What helped: Moving Volcano to a path without Cyrillic characters + running as administrator + launching Roblox before Volcano. All three together removed every attach failure in my tests.

Troubleshooting

Community reports indicate several common issues with Volcano injection. If the executor fails to attach to the Roblox process, users recommend running Volcano as administrator, temporarily disabling antivirus software, ensuring the game process is already running before clicking Attach, updating Visual C++ Redistributable, and removing Cyrillic characters from file paths.

Frequently Asked Questions

Volcano will not inject - what should I check?

Three things: (1) run as administrator, (2) Roblox must be running before Volcano, (3) install path must have no Cyrillic characters. In my tests the Cyrillic path broke the injector without an error message.

Volcano requires VC++ Redistributable?

Yes, and it must be installed before the first launch. Without it, the injector fails on attach, not on start.

Why is Volcano's attach so slow?

It is an Electron app. In my tests attach took 2.0–2.5 seconds compared to 0.4–1.5 for native executors. It does not affect functionality, but it is noticeable.

How much RAM does Volcano use?

120 MB after loading the hub and 135 MB after an hour - one of the heaviest in the tests, because of the Electron runtime.

Volcano does not open the UI

Verify the VC++ Redistributable is installed and that you are running as administrator. Without admin, the UI may open but the attach will not work.

Does Volcano support Level 8?

No, Level 7. Level 8 scripts will not run.
