What Is Solara?

Solara 5.0.2 gave me attach times of 1.1–1.4 seconds on Windows 11 23H2 - slower than Delta or Nucleus, but stable. The key quirk: the hub is empty until you attach. Open Solara and look at the hub before injecting and you will see an empty list - that is the intended order, not a bug. RAM was 88 MB after loading the hub and 102 MB after an hour, heavier than Nucleus and Delta. The theme toggle sometimes gets stuck after an update; clearing Local AppData\\Solara fixes it. The Discord overlay crashed Roblox on attach in my tests - disable it before injecting.

Hands-on Notes

Test rig: Windows 11 23H2 (build 22631.4317) · Intel Core i5-12400 (6P/12T) · 16 GB DDR4-3200

MetricMeasured
Attach time (3 runs)1.2s / 1.4s / 1.1s
RAM after loading hub88 MB
RAM after one hour102 MB

What failed: The hub looked empty until I attached to Roblox - the hub only populates after a successful attach. The theme toggle got stuck after an update and refused to switch themes.

What helped: Running Roblox → Solara → attach in that order made the hub populate in 2–3 seconds. Clearing Local AppData\\Solara fixed the stuck theme toggle. Disabling the Discord overlay removed the attach crash.

Frequently Asked Questions

Solara hub is empty - how do I fix it?

The hub only populates after a successful attach to Roblox. If you open Solara before injecting, the list will be empty - attach first and the hub fills in 2–3 seconds.

Solara theme toggle will not switch themes

Stuck local state. Close Solara, delete the Local AppData\\Solara folder, and relaunch - the toggle will work again.

Solara crashes Roblox on attach

In my tests the Discord overlay was the cause. Disable the overlay in Discord settings or close Discord before attaching.

How much RAM does Solara use?

88 MB after loading the hub and 102 MB after an hour. Noticeably more than Nucleus and Delta, though it does not affect FPS.

Solara will not run a Level 8 script

If the script needs a specific UNC function that 5.0.2 does not expose, it will fail even on Level 8. Test with a minimal print - if that works, the issue is the function, not the level.

Does Solara work on Windows 10 1909?

Yes, but attach times were 0.3–0.4 seconds slower than on Windows 11 23H2 in my tests.
