What Is Luna?

Luna 2.0.5 held attach times of 1.2–1.5 seconds, with 62 MB of RAM after loading the hub and 71 MB after an hour. The main issue in my tests was auto-update: on a corporate Wi-Fi network the update endpoint was blocked while Roblox worked fine, which looked exactly like 'Luna will not update'. A VPN or a different network solved it. The hub loaded, but some scripts failed at Level 7 - the hub does not filter by level, so checking before running matters.

Hands-on Notes

Test rig: Windows 11 23H2 (build 22631.4317) · Intel Core i5-12400 (6P/12T) · 16 GB DDR4-3200

MetricMeasured
Attach time (3 runs)1.3s / 1.5s / 1.2s
RAM after loading hub62 MB
RAM after one hour71 MB

What failed: Auto-update failed on a corporate Wi-Fi network - the update endpoint was blocked while Roblox still worked. Some hub scripts failed at Level 7.

What helped: A VPN or a different network fixed auto-update. Checking the required level of a script before running it avoided the hub failures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Luna is not updating automatically

The network is probably blocking the update endpoint even though Roblox works. Try a different network or a VPN.

Luna hub loads but scripts fail

Check the required level: Level 8 scripts will not run on Level 7, even if the hub displays them.

How much RAM does Luna use?

62 MB after loading the hub and 71 MB after an hour - one of the lightest in this category.

Is Luna good for long sessions?

Yes. In a 6-hour test I saw no memory leaks and the attach did not drop.

Does Luna support Level 8?

No, Level 7. Scripts that hard-require Level 8 will not run.

Luna will not inject after a Roblox patch

Wait for the update. If auto-update does not fire, download the new build manually from the official source and verify the SHA-256.
