What Is Fluxus?

Fluxus 1.9.7 showed the main quirk of its hub in my tests: 500+ scripts is not the same as 500+ working scripts. Some scripts in the hub were broken or required a different level. Auto-update does not always trigger immediately after a patch - sometimes it needs two or three relaunches. Attach times were 1.4–1.7 seconds; RAM was 78 MB after loading the hub and 89 MB after an hour. The hub is a catalog, not a review - including a script and vetting it are different things, and Fluxus only does the first.

Hands-on Notes

Test rig: Windows 11 23H2 (build 22631.4317) · Intel Core i5-12400 (6P/12T) · 16 GB DDR4-3200

MetricMeasured
Attach time (3 runs)1.5s / 1.7s / 1.4s
RAM after loading hub78 MB
RAM after one hour89 MB

What failed: Some scripts in the hub did not work - either broken or requiring a different level. Auto-update did not trigger on the first relaunch after a patch.

What helped: Filtering the hub by category and checking the required level before running. Launching Fluxus and waiting 5–10 seconds before clicking Attach speeds up the auto-update.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fluxus hub shows 500+ scripts but half of them do not work

The hub is a catalog, not a review. Scripts are added without quality checks. Verify the required level and the addition date before running anything.

Fluxus will not inject after a Roblox patch

Wait for the auto-update to complete - do not force an attach during the update window, which causes a silent failure. After a patch, 2–3 relaunches are sometimes needed.

Fluxus hub does not load

Check your internet. The hub is pulled from a server at launch and cached locally; if the network blocks the endpoint, the hub stays empty.

How much RAM does Fluxus use?

78 MB after loading the hub and 89 MB after an hour - about average for this category.

Is Fluxus beginner-friendly?

Yes, it is one of the friendliest: the hub removes the first-script hunt and auto-update removes manual re-downloads. The downside is that hub quality is not vetted.

Does Fluxus support Level 8?

No, Level 7. Scripts that hard-require Level 8 will not run.
